Advance Booking is Essential for Santa’s Xmas Special Trips

Wrap up warm and treat the kids to a Christmas trip on the historic narrow boat Birdswood. Running in November and December 2026: weekends 28th & 29th November and 5th & 6th, 12th & 13th and 19th & 20th December: Trips depart at 1100hrs and 1300hrs from Cromford Wharf: this is a one hour round trip

Age and gender specific gifts for children in the age ranges of 1-2, 3-4, 5-7 and 8-10 years old,along with games and music

Mince pies and hot drinks for the adults, squash and biscuits for the children – included in the price.

There is a toilet on board and we have storage for pushchairs if required.

Booking essential through this website: Tickets will not be available on the day.

PASSENGERS MUST BE ABLE TO EMBARK AND DISEMBARK WITH MINIMAL ASSISTANCE. THERE ARE 2 STEPS UP AND 4 STEPS DOWN INTO THE BOAT.

Please arrive 15mins prior to departure time to allow for boarding and a prompt departure.
